• For clients, offering “Boxed Water is Better”
• Using mugs and glasses in place of paper or plastic
• Printing on double-sided paper when possible
• Using black/white copies instead of color when possible
• Using electronic media in place of paper (email, efax, scanning)
• Using recycled office supplies
• Shutting down computers and other electronics when not in use
• Ensuring office and bathroom lights are turned off when not in use
• Reducing mail waste by using www.stopjunkmail.org
• Assisting clients with reducing mail waste
• Reusing one-sided paper for scratch paper and notepads
• Recycling batteries and toner cartridges
• Using blinds in buildings for light control and reduced cooling costs
• Carpooling and planning routes for efficient driving when possible
• Maintaining vehicles for optimum performance
• Patronizing local businesses, ideally green certified
• Choosing products with minimum packaging
• Utilizing reusable bags for shopping
• Choosing Energy Star qualified appliances
• Using low flow toilets, aerators on faucets; cold water laundry and reduce hot showers
• Using Green Star or environmentally friendly cleaning products
• Changing light bulbs at home to Compact Fluorescent Bulbs (CFL’s)
• Adopting the Environmental Policy and sharing our mission with clients and friends
• Following the office policy and abide by the Green Business Pledge
